GeoLearning Professional Services Consultant

Summary

The Professional Services Consultant will be responsible for, and lead, the company's implementation and configuration of GeoLearning LMS software for SMB and enterprise customers. The consultant will be a high energy, "figure-it-out" individual that will follow the Aasonn EMPOWER implementation methodology to deliver projects on time and on budget with maximum customer satisfaction. The consultant will be responsible for working with Aasonn's partners and corporate sales to enable successful acquisition of new business as directed by the Vice President of Professional Services.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Conduct Configuration Workshops for one client and multiple participants
  • Manage contract deliverables and timelines
  • Manage a project budget and budget targets
  • Manage and lead system integration of partner module services
  • Identifies best practices for product configurations
  • Assess client business practices to consult on product configurations
  • Identify additional consulting opportunities
  • Lead data migrations / HRIS integration / Single Sign On with technical assistance
  • Lead courseware integration with technical assistance
  • Lead e-Commerce solutions with technical assistance
  • Contribute to Communities of Practice
  • Define and outline product roadmap suggestions
  • Manage projects using traditional Project Management tools
  • Apply knowledge of industry trends in training / performance and talent management
  • Conduct instructor-led configuration workshops with multiple customers
  • Conduct virtual configuration workshops with multiple customers
  • Conduct instructor-led role based product training with multiple customers
  • Conduct virtual instructor-led role based product training with multiple customers
  •  Conduct ongoing virtual sessions on specific product modules with multiple customers
  • Consult on training organization / performance management best practices
  • Conduct an Organizational Readiness Assessment
  • Consult on project Governance principles
  • Consult on change management principles
  • Write consulting scope of work
  • Isolate and troubleshoot client software issues
  • Assist with smaller and larger projects

  • Knowledge of project management methodology and project management tools
  • Skilled at managing the client's expectations throughout the project and ensure that all products and services delivered to the client conform to design and meet quality standards
  • Skilled in developing and communicating a project plan to the team and the client at the start of each project, and provide regular updates against the plan
  • Possess enhanced knowledge of driving decisions based on business and finance analytics
  • Strong client interaction and client management skills to understand and convey client needs and shortfalls based on industry standards and best practices

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, computer science, information systems, education or related field or its equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM software.
  • Must have excellent communication abilities both verbal and written.
  • Successful track record in a corporate HR department with significant domain knowledge in training, general HR, succession, compensation, payroll, or other closely allied HR areas.
