  1. Enterprise Project Manager

    Summary

    The Enterprise Project Manager leads and directs high priority talent management projects which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. The Project Manager may interface with all areas affected by the project including end users, functional and technical staff to take the original project definition through to final implementation. Responsibilities include development and maintenance of project plans, issue and conflict resolution, project team motivation and oversight and day-to-day team and end-user communication. In addition, they are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of assigned projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, goals and adherence to quality standards and project deliverables.

     Duties and Responsibilities

    The primary role of the Enterprise Project Manager is to conduct and manage SuccessFactors implementation projects with new and existing customers. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Maintain at least a 80% utilization rate so long as adequate work is made available
    • Conduct discovery meeting with customer
    • Write statement of work
    • Create project plan in cooperation with customer’s internal project manager
    • Participate in weekly customer project team meetings, maintaining “action items” lists
    • Document and track customer product enhancement requests and discovered bugs
    • Bring in additional consultants and technical resources as necessary
    • Manage the relationship with the customer and be Aasonn’s primary “face” to the customer throughout the implementation process
    • Coordinate with implementation consultant(s) to document customer business needs, implemented/configured processes and any unresolved open action items
    • Maintain detailed knowledge of SuccessFactors’ product-suite configuration options
    • Ensure completion of implementation projects within the time allotted, with high levels of customer success from the business process and with high levels of customer satisfaction
    • Lead the planning and implementation of Aasonn projects
    • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
    • Define project tasks and resource requirements
    • Develop full scale project plans
    • Assemble and coordinate project staff
    • Manage project budget and resource allocations
    • Plan and schedule project timelines including tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools
    • Provide direction and support to project team and ensure quality assurance for the overall project
    • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
    • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
    • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
    • Complete project evaluations and assessment of results
    • May be asked to call on customers to help promote Aasonn’s business which may include working with sales team to provide demonstrations to prospective customers

    Qualifications and Competencies

    To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, an individual must have and be able to effectively demonstrate the following required knowledge, skills and abilities.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Exceptional planning and organization skills
    • Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of project management
    • Working knowledge of project management techniques and tools
    • Ability to travel as needed (10-20%)
    • Available to work day, evening and some weekend hours as needed in global business environment
    • Ability to effectively establish and maintain productive business relationships
    • Ability to promote team collaboration
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multidisciplinary tasks
    • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities and work successfully under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex team environment
    • Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly changing work environment
    • Proficiency in project management software
    • Strong critical thinking, decision making, conflict management, problem resolution and negotiation skills
    • Ability to tolerate stress well
    • Ability to influence, lead and delegate

    Education and Experience

    To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, an individual must have successfully completed the following requirements and have a progressive development through the following experiential requirements.

    • Bachelors degree in business, human resources, computer science, information systems, education or related field
    • Five years of experience in project management position(s) preferably in a software solutions company
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
    • Demonstrated experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management
    • Experience with Microsoft Project, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
