Succession Planning Consulting

Aasonn's Succession Planning team can help you design and develop a strategic plan for ensuring you have the talent you need in all of your critical organizational roles.  A thorough assessment will help you support a variety of strategic activities that are necessary to launch effective and ongoing succession planning. Our consultant will help you identify your key roles, perform a vulnerability analysis that will identify critical gaps, evaluate your bench-strength, identify and develop potential and performance measures as well as employee readiness standards.

If you are a SuccessFactors customer, we have the experience and knowledge of the SuccessFactors software so that any succession plan developed will fit nicely with your software as well as your organizational needs.

Project Plan Development. The Aasonn consultant will meet with your stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of the succession project.

Approach Document Development. The Aasonn consultant will discuss the following areas with the project team: 1) identification of successors for critical roles; 2) talent pools for critical roles; 3) identifcation of high performers by geography/region and functional area; 4) identification of rising stars; 5) tracking and monitoring of talent at risk and underperformering talent; 6) available development activities and resources; 7) identification of successors with specific skills and career goals; and 8) identification of successors who are willing to re-locate.

Assessment Process. The Aasonn consultant will review existing career development processes and documents, job descriptions, training courses and other existing succession plans to determine strengths and gaps.

Create a Master Succession Planning Document. The Aasonn consultant will create a master plan complete with softare recommendations and/or configuration recommendations that, focus on the specific succession needs of your organization.

Validate Plan. The Aasonn consultant will review, expand, and refine the succession plan with stakeholders and document the results of the project.
